Design Problems
I have already stated a Front end piece of software needs to be created this will be done in Java. I need to design what classes are going to complete what requirement from the requirement list I have written up and how these classes are going to use concurrency and inheritance to share information across the program. I also need to decide how patterns are going to make my job easier.

Abstract and Analysis
After a break over the Christmas period work on the project has recommenced. I have spent considerable time researching the strengths and weaknesses of pieces of competing card room software along with what development models and methodologies would be best to use. This has allowed me to write up the analysis and research section in my report and make a good start on the design. I have also started to set up my report and have completed the abstract.

Meeting My Project Supervisor
On Tuesday the 20th November I met my project supervisor Elaine Pearson, for the first time. We discussed my proposed idea and where I will need to concentrate research. It was decided that I need to know where the strengths and weaknesses of similar pieces of software as this will help me to understand what features will be successful. I was also given a date of the 29th of November when I need to have emailed my project specification by. Also at the meeting I showed Elaine my specification I produced last year in my Enterprise Project module. I explained that a few minor changes needed to be made to it before it can be resubmitted as work for the FYP.
